Most startups set a marketing budget arbitrarily ("Let's spend $5k this month"). The Ad Spend Planner reverses this process. You tell Calanar your Revenue Target, and we calculate the required budget.
How it Works
The planner uses your historical funnel data to build a bottoms-up model:
- Target Revenue: $50,000 MRR
- Avg Revenue Per User (ARPU): $100
- Required Customers: 500
It then works backward through your conversion rates:
- Visitor → Lead (2%)
- Lead → Customer (5%)
Budget Allocation
The tool suggests how to split your budget between channels based on your historical ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
- Google Ads (High Intent): Usually recommended for capturing existing demand.
- Meta/LinkedIn (Discovery): Recommended for generating new demand.
💡 Pro Tip
Diminishing Returns: As you increase spend, your CAC usually rises. The planner includes a "Saturation Factor" to account for this efficiency drop at higher scales.
