Benchmarking Methodology

Trust is the currency of intelligence. We want you to understand exactly how a "Top 25% Percentile" rank is calculated.
Data Sources
Our benchmarks are derived strictly from verified integrations. We do not use self-reported survey data, which is often biased or optimistic.
- Revenue Data: Directly from Stripe / Paddle.
- Spend Data: Directly from Plaid / Bank Feeds.
- Marketing Data: Directly from Google / Meta Ads APIs.
Cohort Segmentation
Comparing a B2C E-commerce app to a B2B Enterprise SaaS platform is useless. We segment data into "Peer Groups" based on:
- Business Model: B2B SaaS, Marketplace, Fintech, E-commerce.
- Stage: Pre-Revenue, Less than $1M ARR, $1M-$10M ARR, $10M+ ARR.
- Region: GCC (Gulf), North Africa, Levant.
Calculation of Percentiles
We rank your startup against your specific Peer Group using standard quartiles:
- Top Quartile (75th+ Percentile): "Best in Class." You are performing better than 75% of your peers.
- Median (50th Percentile): "Average." You are right in the middle of the pack.
- Bottom Quartile (< 25th Percentile): "At Risk." You are significantly underperforming relative to the market.
💡 Pro Tip
Outlier Removal: We automatically exclude statistical anomalies (e.g., a company with 5000% growth due to a pivot) to prevent skewing the averages.
